Critical reflection on the Nauru Caregivers Survey Presentation design

Visualising the Nauru Caregivers Survey was both challenging and rewarding. I focused on making complex data clearer and more engaging for a broader audience. One of the trickier aspects was finding effective ways to represent comparative figures like “xx times more likely.” Despite the challenge, the project strengthened my ability to communicate data visually and meaningfully. I also designed a presentation for the non-profit organisation ETF, aimed at engaging and inspiring young leaders in Australia. It was a valuable experience that marked the completion of my final course at UTS.

I created a story and video around the theme of the moon. As it was my first time producing a video, and with strict COVID-19 restrictions in place, I challenged myself to work creatively with the limited resources available at home. The objects I incorporated were connected to my childhood, making the process a therapeutic experience that allowed me to reflect on my past life in Korea while navigating the challenges of studying during lockdown.
