UTS Coursework

I explored service design theory to better understand how to create user-centred, holistic experiences. Applying this knowledge, I conducted interviews grounded in service design principles, focusing on uncovering user needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement within the service journey. This approach allowed me to gather deeper insights and translate them into meaningful design strategies.

Service Design

I explored service design theory to better understand how to create user-centred, holistic experiences. With this foundation, I conducted interviews based on service design principles, focusing on identifying user needs, pain points, and areas for improvement across the service journey. This approach helped me gain deeper insights and translate them into thoughtful, meaningful design strategies.

Interaction Design

2046 Explaining the future

I returned to study design to expand my creative capabilities and explore new ways to make a meaningful impact. With a background in fashion, I was excited to apply my visual and product design experience to broader challenges, particularly those that address people’s real needs.

In this project, I explored interaction design theory to understand how to create user-centred, holistic experiences. I conducted interviews to uncover user needs, pain points, and opportunities throughout the service journey. While much of my focus was on deep research and insight gathering, I developed a report, brochure, and video to communicate my design concept. The brochure shown here highlights the key outcomes of my work.

Presentation design

Visualising the Nauru Caregivers Survey was both challenging and rewarding. I focused on making complex data clearer and more engaging for a broader audience. One of the trickier aspects was finding effective ways to represent comparative figures like “xx times more likely.” Despite the challenge, the project strengthened my ability to communicate data visually and meaningfully.

I also designed a presentation for the non-profit organisation ETF, aimed at engaging and inspiring young leaders in Australia. It was a valuable experience that marked the completion of my final course at UTS.
