Unlocking Innovation: My Experience at Datacom's Annual Talent X Hackathon

My team, consisting of university students like myself and junior employees from the company, worked on tackling mental health challenges faced by young Australians in collaboration with the Department of Health’s Head to Health team. I initiated the concept and helped bring it to life through the AI chatbot, "Charlie." I designed the character and presentation deck, leading our team to achieve 1st Runner-Up. Additionally, I was honoured with the Best Design award for my contributions to the project.

I participated as a Talent X in Datacom’s 48-hour hackathon, collaborating with various squads to address some of the company’s most significant challenges. This experience allowed me to work alongside talented professionals and contribute to innovative solutions in a high-pressure, time-constrained environment.

Participating in Datacom’s Talent X Hackathon was an incredible journey of innovation and collaboration. I teamed up with talented individuals to brainstorm and develop creative solutions under tight deadlines. The experience honed my problem-solving skills, fostered teamwork, and pushed me to think outside the box. Learning, growing, and showcasing my passion for design and technology was an exciting opportunity.
