Visualizing Quiet Power
I worked as a Client Advisor for Bottega Veneta and had the opportunity to collaborate on an editorial photo project showcasing their iconic bags. Bottega Veneta strongly emphasises individualism, quiet power, and exceptional creativity and craftsmanship. Our mission was to capture the essence of these values through striking in-store photography, transforming images of their bags into visually captivating content for social media and magazine shoots.

THE CHALLENGE
I was tasked with capturing an editorial shot for Bottega Veneta inside the store, but I quickly realized that the store's background didn't quite capture the luxurious essence and lifestyle that the bags embody. After researching, I found that shooting in natural environments would better convey this mood. That's when I decided to use AI to generate a fitting background, allowing me to transcend the limitations of the store's setting and create an image that truly reflected the brand’s elegance.
THE PROCESS
I focused on capturing the HOP and ANDIAMO bags, which are currently key highlights for Bottega Veneta. Inspired by the intricate lattán detail of the HOP bag, I crafted a holiday-inspired photo concept, emphasizing a relaxed yet refined vibe. I experimented with creating a striking tower arrangement for the ANDIAMO bags, achieving the perfect visual balance with three bags to evoke an elegant statement of form and structure.
THE FINAL OUTCOME
Enhancing Visuals with Adobe Photoshop and Generative AI
Using Adobe Photoshop, I crafted an outdoor-inspired background for the editorial shoot, experimenting with various prompts to achieve the perfect atmosphere. After refining and testing multiple iterations, I found the ideal combination that seamlessly blended with the products and overall theme. With the right adjustments in place, I finalized the images, ensuring they were polished and ready for submission, elevating the overall aesthetic and storytelling of the project.
Leveraging generative AI has transformed how I approach editorial photography, offering new possibilities for crafting captivating visuals. By blending AI capabilities with traditional techniques, I refined each photo’s mood, ambience, and composition to enhance storytelling and elevate luxury brand aesthetics.
